POSITION OVERVIEW

 

This position will report to our Senior Pastor and work closely with the other artists and musicians in the church. The Worship Director is the lead role on our worship team and will be the architect of the culture and team moving forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

• A testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and growing personal relationship with Him.

• Commitment to moral purity and relational integrity.

• Commitment to the mission, vision, values, and doctrine of IHBC.

• Experience in leading worship and skilled as a musician.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Build a team of artists and musicians passionate about worshipping the Lord.

• Developing a worship culture at IHBC in Spirit and truth. (John 4:23-24)

• Lead Sunday morning worship, approximately 45 weeks per year.

• Approximately 15 hours per week is expected to achieve the desired results. Planning meeting, rehearsal, and Sunday morning worship

• Lead special worship services as needed. (Easter week, Christmas week, and occasional evenings of worship)

 

COMPENSATION

 

            $500 per week, based on a commitment to approximately 45 weeks per year.
